Who We Are

University Analytics and Institutional Reporting (UAIR), formerly the IA component of the Office of Budget and Institutional Analysis, provides data and analytics about the University of Utah. We produce metrics that can answer questions about the university, inform decisions, and advance strategic priorities. We fulfill compliance reporting to federal and state entities, manage surveys that support our national rankings, and provide actionable internal analyses. Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, our data expertise includes students, finance, faculty, staff, campus space, and research. We serve external and internal audiences, offering a public data presence for the University, and serving as a foundational data resource for stakeholders within the university. For those outside the University of Utah community, our website contains reports and dashboards on a variety of topics. For those within the U, we offer not only reports and dashboards but also support in learning about and leveraging the data. Connect further with us by exploring our online dashboards or by using our form.
