Data Governance
What is Data Governance?
The Data Governance service provides enterprise-wide guidance for how institutional data is created, accessed, used, and managed throughout its lifecycle. Through defined roles, policies and processes, data governance ensures that data is accurate, secure, and used responsibly. It enables data trustees, stewards, and users confidently understand what data exists, how it can be used, and how it supports institutional decision-making.
